Kaleidoscope Selection

Experimenting with the projector allowed me to understand the importance of the imagery having a chaotic presence. It was an instantaneous decision to incorporate kaleidoscopic versions of my collages/paintings/drawings because I feel that they emphasise the focus on the intensity of my imaginative dreams, as well as resonate with me aesthetically.

The process involves a simple kaleidoscope app on an iPad, with which I can alter the size, shape and positioning of the pattern outcome; Evidently, the possibilities are endless and I can produce a massive quantity of them, meaning I have selected specific kaleidoscopes (62) of which to run through as footage to project through the material of the installation. I selected outcomes that particularly involve imagery clearly, in a way that signifies them in relation to recurrance of, and vividness within my experiences.
