Macro-lense – trapped paintings

Whilst examining the Gerhard Richter inspired pieces, I noticed that the imprints and markings made by the movement of my fingers throughout the process, allowed light to come through and add even more to the pieces. I then emphasized this with the use of a projector and captured the essence of the light and the alterations it makes to them. I particularly love the way the movement of the paint equates to some lava-like movement, or in some cases quite cosmic – relating to my passion for the stars and way back to work I skimmed over during first year.
