I saw the Chapman Brothers’ exhibition in London on the 8th November and loved these wooden sculptures. I feel like they were trying to portray a message of consumerism in terms of the fast food industry, i.e. McDonald’s but in quite a strong manner, because of the stance and the characteristics of the scluptures being fairly aggressive and powerful.

My response to this was to develop my previous use of toy soldiers in true Chapman Brother’s style, but to incorporate the way he personifies an icon.
